the 5th season of mtv roadies has begun..this must b de 1st reality show to have survived for this many seasons..de usual scenario is that if a reality show gets good TRP ratings, de 2nd season of it is awaited with much anticipation..wot eventually happens is that it doesnt sizzle, ah wel, it jus um, fizzles out..this mebbe cos de show isnt fresh anymore..take indian idol for example, half de couch potatoes will say who won indian idol part 1..but ask them about "Sandeep Acharya", they'll say "sandeep who??"..4 those of u who r stil wonderin wot im talkin abt, here's de solution - he's de winner of indian idol 2..but it jus stops ther..he didnt become famous post de show..but roadies has been amazin..on 1 side it has made rannvijay - the winner of roadies 1, an mtv vj..de biggest plus side of the show has been that it has encouraged indian youngsters to hav roadie type trips amongst themselves..these kinda trips hav been popular in de western countries, but de show has given it a boost in dis part of subcontinent..until den 1 backpack trip on 2 wheels was completely unheard of among de greyin generation..i thought de show will simply stop with its 4th season..i mean, how long can de show go on?? but thanks to bani..guys glued their eyes to de tv to crib about her guts..n gals maintained a scoreboard of the no of ways in which she's diff from de feminine community..we've heard of metrosexual guys..but she is de poster girl for metrosexual gal..she's a gal in every way - from the feminine shorts to black nail polish to de ever-hit indian kohl smudged eyes..but de similarity stops ther..in every other way she is a guy - a wannabe guy mebbe..from her slang, vocabulary, fashion sense to courage..she eventually became de brand ambassidor for reebok..we al know that reebok neva manufactures downright girly fabric..who cud b a better model for reebok than bani?? roadies 5 auditions r over n de game has jus begun..auditions r as exicitin as de real game..u must c de craziest things ppl do to get into roadies..its a fact that most ppl simply come to feel de excitement n with a hope to catch their face on national tv..ah, de juiciest part of de show - de judges!! i really cant understand y nikhil is a judge..he's simply not eligible enough..n abt raghu, y is he shoutin al de time?? for no rhyme or reason he raises his voice against de contestants..any other ordinary person wudnt shoot up like that..no wonder y his hair stopped growin..ha ha..or is jus shaved to b so?? mebbe its all a part of de game - to make auditions more intrestin..wots surprisin is that ther were no auditions conducted in de south..i thot chennai, blore n hyd were hep cities..ask raghu abt it n he says "v hav learnt from r earlier mistakes that these ppl jus wanna watch de show..not participate in it"..hmm, i found it shockin

i saw al of de audition episodes, but i'm stil scratchin my head to find out on wot basis they r selectin ppl..n here's my conclusion..u gotta b UBER COOL..de judges definition of cool is -

- dress urban
- hail from de in-profession : rj, dj, sports, etc
- look ultra chic
- act wild
- b capable to imitate some animal of some sort - bein able to imitate monkey family(includin humans) is a plus
- only ppl from elite colleges will b auditioned
- should b able to do a head stand(they act as if this skill is very important for ur survival from de ill effects of global warmin)
- hit(as in, flirt) on de judges(even guys r asked to perform this stunt!!)
- n de most important point to note : no sarees, salwars or traditional wear pls

..if u're not any of the above, den sorry sir - roadies is not 4 u..many a times i hav felt that de rejected contestants deserved to be on de show..wen i saw some auditions, i thot this person has gotta become a roadie..but wen de results were announced, i was surprised dat de least expected ppl became a roadie..funny, they choose 13 as de no of ppl who shud go on de journey..13..peculiar no..wonder y?? i guess bcos this show can b brutally bitchy

1. varun(chandigarh)
- cud neva understand y he got selected..neva gotta c de whole of chandigarh auditions..n cudnt analyse him at de show as he got voted out b4 he cud sit on de bike..al i cud make out was that he easily gets caught in girls trap(read as, shambhavi's trap..given her sultry appeal, any guy does, except ashu n sneha..i mean, how can guys b so dumb?? cant they understand she was jus usin him??)

2. prabhjot(chandigarh)
- bully, bani wannabe, both de "b" words suit her equally..they probably took her to add spice to de show..jus to c how much she impersonate bani..she has a very unique name, doesnt she?? i whole-heartedly agree to sneha's views on prabjot..(sneha says - "she is de only physically powerful girl on de team)..but no1 wanted her in de 1st eva immunity task..she had to stand on no man's land..she chummied up with ankita..thanks to her attitude, she has de least no of fans among guys

3. vibhor(chandigarh)
- sickest guy on roadies accordin to me..he's such a non performer..he jus came to hav fun(with shambu)..im happy he got out..he has such negative vibes abt him..but he was so right to warn de survivin 1s abt sneha..

4. ayaz(kolkata)
- taekwando champion, thanks to that, he cud complete de pole malkamb task..seriously it was de most embarrisin task eva..i neva had an inkling of an idea if any of de roadies cud even win at it..he's girly, most dissapointin contestant..if ther is a weakling, its him..i neva knew ther were amateur riders among guys..i thot guys start motor bikin as soon as they got tal..n that they got their license on their 18th bday..this guy is so least confident abt drivin that he got himself n shambu into an accident

5. ankita(kolkata)
- neva seen her smile..but she displays lot of confidence..she's de type who cant handle pain..she cried so bad wen dettol was poured over her rope bitten palms whereas other girls who suffered worse injuries didnt even utter a cry

6. shambhavi(delhi)
- delicate turned vampire, decievin beauty, flirts to her advantage..i used to wonder y judges selected her..she did no push-ups, no head-stands..jus a golmaal dance, which turned raghu's head into a golmaal..impossible achievement..lemme tel u y i prefer to cal her shambu..some of u mite hav read de non-adventurous stories of shikari shambu..she's jus like that - non-adventurous, but a hunter..she hunts on guys..she totally decieved raghu with her "im-a-nice-girl" attitude..she is 1 gal who can change her masks..multiple personality types..most guys wil not vote out for her as they need some1 to flirt with 4 40 days

7. anmol(delhi)
- a total performer, i cant pin point 1 fault against her..chums up with shambu as she too is a delhiite..5 roadies from delhi..so delhi really has attitude righto?? 4 gals n 1 guy

8. vikrant(delhi)
- dj, nothin gr8 abt interwiew..i hav a good feelin that ther's nikhil's big hand into his selection..he's such a big liar - he lied to vibhor that he didnt vote out against him..he out of de show now..but not for long..nikhil wud ensure that he enter wild card or turn de dj into a full time vj

9. ankita aka simran(delhi)
- 100% wild card entry..she's my fav..she has de good mix of roadie attitude..she had a good bondin with de delhi gang..sneha was too cunnin n he saw to it that he broke de bond by gettin her out in de very first episode..i didnt except her to behave so badly at de espresso challenge..she makes a good eye candy though..u jus hav to google her..u wil b flooded with de no of forums that share her fotos..u become an instant celebrity, thanks to todays www..even rejected contestants can b googled on net..she has such a raspy voice that suits her proclaimed wild-rebel child attitude(credit to that labelin goes to raghu, dont look at me guys)..i stil feel that she's a beatiful person inside who wasnt given enuf chance to prove herself

10. sonel(delhi)
- de wildest person eva on roadies..she must b an insider..she believes guys r 2 b used..a perfect drama queen..she has such changin personalities..she was such a human lioness at de auditions..a totally i'm-not-intrested kinda girl in de 1st episode..wot else wud u cal her wen she's readin a novel instead of cheerin her team wen they r performin sinkin stunts on a banana boat?? she has such a grudge against sneha..sneha reminds her of her unc..she wud do jus de opposite of wot sneha says..even i wud..but how she blossomed later on..she took time in becomin a performer..she wasnt allowed to do most of de stunts cos of her bigger frame..how follish..in that case, guys shudnt b allowed to do any of de stunts..bein several sizes bigger, she's much more than a guy..but she's dumb, she believed sneha to de core n played a hand at chuckin out vikrant..she played a bigger hand at chuckin out sneha..kudos 2 her 4 that!!

11. aashutosh aka aashu(jaipur/delhi-reject/chandigarh-reject)
- real crazy to b a roadie as u can understand from him bein a chandigarh n delhi audition-reject..he's a real walkie-talkie, tapori guy, completely desi, total rowdy..his comments r jus so outrageously funny..he calls anmol a rabbit..she does look n run like 1..n calls contemporary dance a snake n kung-fu mix..a total bolly type dancer as he proved at de ice-breakin jam session n immunity task dance..he's involved in no politics wotsoeva..he's smal time hotel owner..that shows his ability to stand on his own feet..i totally luuuuuuuuuv his personality

12. nihal(mumbai)
- another shambu-crazy guy..de diff from varun n ubore(vibhor) is that he used bac shambu..he wanted her for his own use..a total slum-type guy with de slum attitude..went completely broke after investin in lottery tickets..accordin to me he's a loser for life

13. snehashish(mumbai)
- de most intelligent guy on roadies eva..i think b4 comin for auditions he byhearted al de videos of de prev seasons..he is like a chess player..he has such amazin stratergies..it al comes out at vote out time..he tells somethin to 1 gang..n plots aginst at another gang..mebbe he's a frnd of raghu..his brains r de makin of a raghu

so thats it folks..i'l try not 2 write such long posts..wil b bac nxt time with some other post thats close to my heart..i finally thank de world wide web for providin me with de pic to write dis borin post..ciao
